A Lifetime of Furniture
It’s 1940 and Sally fills the days waiting for her husband to return from the war. She hasn’t joined the war effort at home yet, hoping peace will be declared quickly. So for now, she must pass her time...
Of course, repairing gloves seems like an important task. It's time to be thrifty, and keep everything in good repair.
Then a little break for tea and organizing the china.
For a little bit of fun Sally takes to reading her favorite novel.
Sally's grandson Brett moves into his own apartment. Grandma is downsizing and offers all of her beautiful antique furniture to him, but his style is more modern so he picks up some furniture and prized "toys" for his bachelor pad at the local WIN store. He does keep a few of Sally's heirlooms and will come to cherish them. Sally decides to donate her items to WIN, hoping that they will find happy homes.
