Donation of Furniture
Thank you for considering to donate your gently used furniture to WIN. It means a lot to us. Furniture Donations are an essential part of our New Start Program, as well as the other programs that we run in the community. This is a list of the items we often need for our New Start Program deliveries:
- Living Room Chairs
- Dining Room Tables and Chairs
- Queen, Double and Single mattresses with boxsprings (must be a set & in like-new condition)
- Coffee tables and end tables
- Dressers (without a mirror)
We try our best to provide women in our New Start Program with the best quality items that we can. Furniture that does not go into our New Start deliveries is sold in our Resale Shops at affordable prices to our customers. As we do not use any government funding, we rely on the sales in our stores to be able to run the programs for women in our community. For this reason we do need to have high quality standards for the furniture that we accept. The cost to repair, recycle or garbage unusable furniture is not affordable for us.
How to Donate Furniture to WIN

*Please also be aware that we may not be able to accept some pieces due to our limited warehouse and store space.
Pick-ups by our Truck:
If you have furniture you would like to donate but cannot transport it yourself, we offer a furniture pick-up service on Tuesday and Thursday mornings in Victoria. Please note that because we only have one truck our resources are limited so we can only offer this service in limited areas of town and are typically booking pickups 1-3 weeks in advance.

We find that a picture of the goods you would like to donate makes it a lot easier for us to plan our pick-ups, and you can attach these to the furniture donation form (or email them to firstname.lastname@example.org).
