Provides parent and child drop in programs, a free weekly family dinner, access to a resource room with food and clothing. Support services include school and community based counselling for families who struggle with parenting (including C'Nex, designed to assist families whose children have been or may be taken into care), financial crisis and homelessness, and other barriers to meeting children's needs. Outreach services to vulnerable youth includes a program for youth transitioning from Government care to independence. Our child care programs offer Preschool, out-of-school care, winter, spring and summer day camps. The Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) Program works with families for up to three years to increase their employment and financial skills and build savings.

Our Place is a unique inner-city community centre serving Greater Victoria’s most vulnerable: working poor, impoverished elderly, mentally and physically challenged, addicted and the homeless. Individuals and businesses provide the majority of financial support for its programs and services. Our Place provides over 1,600 free hot meals per day, hot showers, education, job skills, free clothing, counseling and outreach services, plus 45 transitional housing units. Most importantly, it provides a sense of hope and belonging to our neighbours in need.
