We try our best to provide women in our New Start Program with the best quality items that we can. Furniture that does not go into our New Start deliveries is sold in our Resale Shops at affordable prices to our customers. As we do not use any government funding, we rely on the sales in our stores to be able to run the programs for women in our community. For this reason we do need to have high quality standards for the furniture that we accept. The cost to repair, recycle or dispose of unusable furniture is not affordable for us.
How to Donate Furniture to WIN
*Please also be aware that we may not be able to accept some pieces due to our limited warehouse and store space and we can only accept upholstered furniture from pet free and smoke free homes. To get a better idea if your item will be accepted, please email photos of your donations to firstname.lastname@example.org
Pick-ups by our Truck:
If you have furniture you would like to donate but cannot transport it yourself, we offer a furniture pick-up service in selected areas of Victoria and Langford. Due to our limited resources, this service is often booked with 1-3 weeks in advance.
For more information, fill out our furniture donation form and we'll contact you, or call us at 250-480-4006 ext 204. We find that a picture of the goods you would like to donate makes it a lot easier for us to plan our pick-ups, and you can attach these to the furniture donation form (or email them to email@example.com).
We are currently unable to accept donations at our Langford store due to a lack of storage availability. We have had many generous offers of donations and we are looking for solutions.
